After circulating widely on digital platforms Josephyl’s new hot single dubbed Achibella, which features Exray Tainua, Teslah and GJB100, is now available on YouTube.
An electrifying fusion of dancehall and reggae beats, Josephyl performs ‘Achibella’ with a style that makes the song fit for the international music scene.
‘Achibella’ is a song about a woman who deceives a man that she loves him, enjoys all his money and gifts, then later disappears in thin air, leaving him with a broken heart, but even then, he still has hope that maybe one day she will return to him, so he keeps waiting for her.
With ‘Achibella’ Josephyl exhibits how creative and versatile he can get when it comes to music, because this is definitely a new flavour, compared to his usual style.
Whereas in the past Josephyl has been focusing on releasing inspirational music that appeals mainly to Christians, this time round he decided to go all secular by dropping a party jam that has the capacity to spark mayhem on the dancehall.
Actually, with ‘Achibella’ we are seeing Josephyl venturing into a different music genre altogether and if all goes well, this song is likely to become his biggest breakthrough in the Kenyan music industry.
