Ugandan musician Tarel Tala, who thrilled the country some time back with his enchanting love ballad dubbed ‘Matta’, is set to unleash a massive EP titled ‘Legends Are Made In Kampala’, which is dropping this week.

Sources close to the singer reveal that Tarel Tala’s EP, which is bound to be a mega comeback for him onto the Ugandan music scene, will take many of his fans by storm, because it features a number of captivating jams.

A very enterprising artist, Tarel Tala has over time remained an archetype of consistency in as far as his music career is concerned, continually reshaping the auditory composition of his audience by releasing music that suits the tastes and preferences of his fans.

However, his forthcoming EP is bound to turn tables on the Ugandan music scene, because he is one of the artists that never disappoint when they set out to do justice to the mic.

Real name Jonathan Kawooya, Tarel Tala is a talented artist born in February 2001, in Kampala, the capital of Uganda, currently signed to Musoni Music and distributing his music under Black Market Records.

Tarel Tala was raised in an orphanage called Bulamu Children’s Village and in Ntinda, a Kampala suburb, from where he nurtured his music skills.

He is a resilient musician who started singing at the age of 7 as a church choir member and over the years has released several records besides ‘Matta’, among them; ‘Kikadde’, ‘Bestie’ and ‘Kanemu’.
