Multi-talented Ugandan artist, music producer and songwriter Junior Gentle has out a new pulsating EP titled ‘Detention’, which debuted today on Spotify and other digital platforms.
The choice of title for this EP is very perfect, because the thrilling compilation of songs on it will definitely detain everyone who attempts to listen to this captivating production.
Coming with collabos from various East African artists, the EP features the following jams, which are all massive hits; ‘Bad Commando’ ft. Unspoken Salaton & Teslah, ‘Confirm’, ‘Risky’ ft. Paf Bouyy and ‘Talanga’ ft AB.
Whereas ‘Bad Commando’ is a reverberating dancehall banger, ‘Confirm’ and ‘Risky’ are enthralling Afropop tunes, while ‘Talanga’ is a vivacious blend of Gengetone and Afropop vibes!
However, although all the jams on the EP are fantastic, ‘Bad Commando’, which features Kenyan artists Unspoken Salaton and Teslah, is very explosive, especially because it is a party anthem that rocks partiers from Kampala to Nairobi.
This being his sophomore EP, the studio project will more than solidify Junior Gentle’s position as one of the Ugandan musicians with potential to become the next big star in the music industry.
