When Nigerian artist Johnny Benzx set out to record his latest jam titled ‘Define’, very few of his fans expected that it would turn out to be as massive as it is today.
A few weeks after its release, ‘Define’ has become the talking point amongst African music enthusiasts, not only because of the song being a reverberating club banger, but also because it is attracting thousands of views at sporadic speed.
Being a track that has everything for everybody, ‘Define’ has been positively acclaimed by fans who cannot seem to get enough of it, which explains why the audio boasts of over 85K YouTube views so far and still counting.
With ‘Define’, Johnny Benzx is proving without being provoked that he is a superb storyteller, who is here to share his life stories with audiences across the continent, through music.
As he performs ‘Define’, Johnny Benzx attempts to tell a story of the lives African youths lead in the ghettos and their challenges that would have otherwise been avoided if some people didn’t stereotype or characterize them for what they are not.
