In a bid to extend its reach around the globe, Black Market Records has opened up new offices in Ecuador, where the company is set to launch a new branch.

In a bid to extend its reach around the globe, Black Market Records has opened up new offices in Ecuador, where the company is set to launch a new branch.

The Ecuador offices, which are meant to further the Black Market Records presence in South America, were officially opened by the record labels Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cedric Singleton, in company of the new team that will manage the facility.

“Black Markets Records CEO Cedric Singleton just laid the groundwork for a new office in Quito, Ecuador,” Rod Singleton, one of the record label’s directors wrote on social media, Friday.

Musicians have already started recording music at the BMR Ecuador offices

He added that; “Ecuador has a rich and vibrant music tradition. Please stay engaged for the exhilarating music that will be zooming from Ecuador, and the world famous Galapagos Island.”

Singleton, who noted the   facility will house offices and a recording studio, also revealed that Black Market Plans to kick off massive recruiting of musicians in a bid to promote music talent in Ecuador.

Besides Ecuador however, Black Market Records, which is originally from Sacramento, California, USA, has branches in Uganda, Kenya, the United Kingdom, Cuba, Ghana, South Africa, among other countries.
