Digital streaming platform Spotify is getting thousands of streams for ‘Kaskie Vibaya’, a thrilling Gengetone jam by Fathermoh featuring Sylvia Ssaru.
The positive vibes that Fathermoh spreads in ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ to counter Ssaru’s negative energy have endeared the song to several youth, especially young men who relate to the lyrics in the song.
It is because of this relatability amongst the youth that besides the extensive streaming on Spotify, ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ has since become a song that is playing not only at bars and night clubs but also in several households.
Meanwhile, the ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ video is still growing stronger on YouTube by posting over 100K views per day, which has seen the song climb to over 3.5M views now, meaning it will be at 4M or more soon.
All this comes at a time when fans are also voting for ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ in the East Africa Entertainment Awards (EAEA), having been nominated in the category of People’s Choice Best Kenyan Single.
