Black Market Records has extended its reach to Ghana, where the record label has already signed up talented artists who include AGS Remedy, Kwesi Mafia and Khemi Tunez.
Under the leadership of Cedric Singleton, the record label’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Black Market Records has signed record deals with these artists after they proved to possess commendable music potential.
For instance, AGS Remedy, who is an exceptional rapper, has so far released a number of songs under the record label, some of which include; ‘Hell & Back’, ‘Alright’, ‘911’, among others.
On the other hand, Kwesi Mafia, an Afropop artist, has released ‘Pain In My Heart’, while Khemi Tunez, who is known for jams like ‘Devil In Me’, ‘Turn On The Light’ and others is yet to drop his first studio project under the label.
The artists signed under Black Market Records in Ghana are under the management of Lord Baah, a formidable talent manager and promoter in Accra.
Besides Ghana however, Black Market Records, which was founded in 1989, in Sacramento, California, USA, has also established its presence in Cuba, Las Vegas, Ecuador, Uganda, Kenya and intends to expand its presence to other countries.
In Kenya, the record label is being hailed for producing some of the biggest songs in East Africa currently among them ‘Kuna Kuna’ by Vic West, ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ by Fathermoh, ‘Miondoko’ by Rico Gang, to mention but a few.
