‘Namunigina’ Album By Rako Gynius Drops On Digital Platform

Multi-talented Ugandan artist Rako Gynius, who is popularly known for his jam ‘Karma Crazy’ has unveiled his debut album under Black Market Records dubbed ‘Namunigina’.

The six-track album which is now available on all Digital Streaming Platforms (DSPs) features the following track list; ‘Namunigina’, ‘Batulamuza’, ‘Ah Naye’, ‘Kamulegeya’, ‘Baabuwe’ and ‘Traditional Kekon’.

His album is mostly a compilation of soothing Ugandan percussion beats and poetry, thanks to his mastery at playing a number of traditional music instruments.

This is a major breakthrough for Rako Gynius, who is not only a musician but also a producer, writer, composer, beats maker and DJ.

With this album, he is definitely going to keep the ears of thousands of Ugandan music enthusiasts paying undivided attention to him.

Now that the album is available on digital platforms, Rako Gynius intends to premiere it on YouTube in a few days’ time.

A formidable entertainer,  Rako Gynius started his music journey way back in 2014 with a recording studio called James Sous, where he worked on various songs including ‘Willow’ by Ragga Dee.

He  later joined Avie Records in Makindye with Dr. Fizol, where he worked on jams like ‘Mbega wa Baala’, ‘Ndiwamulu’, etc.

He is currently the lead music producer at Black Market Records studios in Nateete, Kampala.
