Sizzling Gengetone jam ‘Napenda Wote’ by iPhoolish and Unco JingJong, featuring Fathermoh, Joefes and Thee Exit Band has since gone viral on Tik Tok.
Thousands of fans from all over East Africa and beyond have taken to recording dance challenges for ‘Napenda Wote’ and flooding them on Tik Tok and in doing so, making the song even more popular.
Besides going viral on Tik Tok however, ‘Napenda Wote’, which is an all-star classic, premiered two days ago on YouTube but the rate at which Gengetone fans are streaming the video is already foretelling its being a monster hit.
This is because the video has so far garnered over 35K YouTube views within barely 48 hours, which is a real record-breaker on the Kenyan music scene.
It is now obvious that Kenya has a new Gengetone blockbuster on the market that is bound to characterize the country’s party scene and to dominate music charts for a long time to come.
It should be noted that what sets ‘Napenda Wote’ apart from other Kenyan songs is not because it involved a lot of technicalities but the raw emotions the artists bring to the audience in this jam.
