Having mastered the skill and craft of the music industry over the years, Kenyan singing group Thee Exit Band isn’t about to step aside for any other to take over their territory.

They are back with a new, scorching video dubbed ‘Popo’, featuring songbird Teslah, which is premiering on YouTube next Thursday, December 15th, 2022.

Although Thee Exit Band have all along been known to run an all-man show, they this time round decided to bring around something fresh and unique by blending their masculine voices with Teslah’s sweet vocals.

‘Popo’ is a song that is purely about love and with this project, Thee Exit Band pull off a somewhat romantic collabo, thanks to Teslah’s feminine touch.

The project focuses on encouraging lovers not to give up on each other despite the challenges they face, a message that will make it appeal to a very huge audience across East Africa.

For quite some time, the Gengetone genre has been having a void that needed to be filled and with this combination between Thee Exit Band and Teslah, there is no doubt about this void having been filled.

Thee Exit Band made headlines recently after they featured in Vic West’s monstrous hit ‘Kuna Kuna’, which spread like wildfire around the world shortly after its release.
