Gengetone despite the many challenges is a genre that keeps evolving. More and more young ins have jumped onto the bandwagon and used the internet as their market. Team Psycho is among the first groups to join gengetone and bless us with Ghetto music. Their first hit song was Kata Tenje that introduced them to the spotlight. They have done an international Colabo with JT the Bigga Figga dubbed Badass and are slowly changing the game. Their new song features Khaligraph Jones who already has an Ep out. The song is titled OG ni nani and is buzzing. Josephyl went hard on the lyrics and so did Iyano who brought his A game. Team Psycho are proving to be great at drill music and more similar tracks from them might just put them on the top chart. Team Psycho which originally had three members has two now remaining; Josephyl and Iyano who are now at the fire front of changing the game. Upcoming talented female musician Lorena Lexy has released the official video for her new single ‘Party’.Lorena’s ‘Party’ video premiered today March 17, 2022, on YouTube via Black Market Records and it is already circulating on other digital music streaming platforms. ‘Party’ is a danceable song in which Lorena puts all effort to impress and the little angel pulls it off well by exhibiting great talent as she sings, despite her age.However, besides ‘Party’ Lorena, who is signed to Black Market Records, has over time released several other songs some of which include; ‘Hossana’, ‘We Go’, ‘Time is Now’, among others.One of the youngest Ugandan female musicians, Lorena hails from a renowned God-fearing family. Her love for music started blossoming after she met her music icons Baby Gloria and Kidz Bop, who surely gave her the inspiration to start off her music career in 2020, singing Afropop and RnB genres.She is of late working with renown Ugandan producers \’ Andre On The Beat, Bash Killa and Asteyn \’ to come up with her very first EP \’ Time Is Now \’ that is yet to be officially released.Lorena says that her mission as a musician is to uplift the girl child into bigger positions in the country and to become a voice to mitigate the abuse of the girl child.

Celebrated musicians Angella Katatumba and Emilian Starz, who are both signed to Black Market Records, are set to be the main acts at the Vumbula Uganda Festival slated to happened at the Uganda Museum starting Friday to Sunday march 20th, 2022.Katatumba and Emilian Starz are already doing rehearsals as they get ready to thrill revellers who will attend the festival.However, besides Katatumba and Emilian Starz, the Vumbula Uganda Festival, which is being fired up by Nile Special beer and other sponsors, is a fun-filled that will feature performers from other artistes like Jose Chameleone, DJ Roja, Aroma, Spice Diana, Henry Tigan, Tuff B, among others. Besides entertainment from musicians, the event shall double as platform for promoting Uganda tourism, whereby revellers will get an opportunity to tour the Uganda Museum and see some of the country’s rare artefacts that date back into history.The organizers of the festival have since revealed to this website that tickets are selling at Shs50,000 (fifty thousand shillings only) and can be bought at the Uganda Museum.
