With seemingly interesting lyrics that had everybody singing to the lyrics. Allow me to jog your memory about this particular song. Pombe was one among many songs that stirred alot of attention incurring multiple reactions across social media platforms. Honestly speaking, who was left out in trying out the Pombe challenge on TikTok? Because I know for a fact that I wasn’t. Pombe was released in 2021, December by Thee Exit band featuring Teslah and Chanchan, a fast raising music group comprising of Maxwell Otieno, Meletas Javan Juma and Jovah. Marck Don is a multi-talented artist, music writer and he is signed to Black Market Records, an American record label. He has made waves in the African music scene with his writing skills for a Legendary Mr Nice (Tanzania) and Macky2 (Zambia). https://youtu.be/bgVnPCCqbbk The self-taught music writer and artist started music in 2018 and has not looked back since then, he was nominated in the CBC Viewers Choice Awards as Best Upcoming artist in Zambia. The project awarded him visibility on prestigious media outlets in Zambia. And he has also worked with big names in the country like Macky2, Chef 187, Muzo aka Alphonso, Jemax and Yceleb.

Marck Don at a tender age discovered his gift and passion for music. He began singing for his school mates and did a lot of music writing. He has even written songs for Macky 2 and Tanzania\’s very own Mr. Nice. Marck Don was born in Zambia in 1999, finished his grade 8 in Chingola Primary School before joining Kabundi School for further education. At fifteen years of age, he began now to write his own music, performing at various events locally and making a name for himself. He took a break and concentrated more on playing football. This led to a stagnation of his art and hence he backslid. He wants to take Zambia to international levels as he feels the state of Zambian music is still in shumbles. Follow for more updates.
