By Isaac Tugume Celebrated Ugandan musician Nina Roz, who has a sizzling jam dubbed ‘Onoozina’, has come out to join the fight against corruption in the country, rallying everyone to be a part of the struggle for a better future. Nina Roz has taken her campaign to another level by organizing a Space on X (Twitter) today, during which she wants Ugandans from all walks of life to discuss avenues of fighting corruption and to share personal experiences of how corruption has negatively impacted their lives. “Enough is enough I join and stand with Ugandans to fight the increased corruption in the parliament…” Nina Roz posted on X (Twitter) Tuesday evening, adding; “We are frustrated, we are tired, this should stop, we demand transparency, we demand accountability. Join me tomorrow at 4pm on X (Twitter) spaces. #March2Parliament” Nina Roz’s campaign comes at a time when several Ugandans are hitting the streets to protest the rampant corruption in the country, with many of them being arrested by police and the army. Traders in Kampala have also locked down their shops today to protest unfair taxes and corruption in the country, making Nina Roz’s campaign very timely.
