Gengetone icons Fathermoh and Sylvia Ssaru of the ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ fame, have bagged the People’s Choice Best Kenyan Sound Single in the East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (EAEA)

Fathermoh and Ssaru have been making headlines ever since they released ‘Kakiye Vibaya’, which turned out to be a monster hit that up to now remains a giant tune on the Kenyan music scene.

‘KaaskieVibaya’ was competing in the same category with ‘Angela’ by Boutross & Juicee Mann, ‘Miondoko’ by Rico Ganga ft. Mbuzi Gang and ‘Nawacha Pombe’ by Kushman ft. Ssaru and Benzema.

But we can aptly say that ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ had to emerge winner by all means in this category because, besides being a pulsating dancehall thriller, the jam continues to get bigger on YouTube, where the video has so far attracted over 8.6M views and still counting.

And that doesn’t imply that fans are about to get enough of this jam, because it is a massive waist-bender  that is  here to rock Gengetone fans for ages to come.

Fathermoh and Ssaru will officially receive the award at the EAEA Extravaganza event that will be held in Kenya on Friday September 29, 2023 but until then, keep streaming the video on YouTube, so that we can push the song to 9M views and or more.
