Singer Nina Roz has literary sparked off a spiritual storm in Uganda with her freshest single dubbed ‘Hallelujah’, on which she teams up with famous Kampala evangelist Pastor Wilson Bugembe.
For starters, none of Nina Roz’s fans expected her to even harbour any thoughts about ever doing a Christian praise and worship song like ‘Hallelujah’, which is so uplifting.
Secondly, very few Ugandans had ever thought of a musician like Nina Roz doing a collabo with a man of God like pastor Bugembe, because much as they are both artists, they tread totally different paths in this world.
This song thus illustrates the fact that no matter how long someone distances themselves from the path of Christianity, they will always have a choice to either steer back to the divine path after some time or not.
Nina Roz and Pastor Bugembe also tend to express the satisfaction, comfort and hope that people derive from choosing to deny themselves worldly desires and decide to trust in God.
