Kenyan singing trio Thee Exit Band has returned with a fresh jam titled ‘Tamu’, which they released on Thursday this week via YouTube and digital platforms.
A song that returns Thee Exit Band into the limelight with a fresh feel and vibe, ‘Tamu’ is about having a nice time with your buddies without even having second thoughts about it!
‘Tamu’ is a Swahili word that means ‘sweet’ in English, hence Thee Exit Band in this track sings about having gin and ice, enjoying drink-ups, partying and having great moments with your besties.
It’s basically a fine tune through which Thee Exit Band urges everyone to forget their problems, and go out to enjoy merrymaking with friends or family.
The kind of jam everyone should be vibing to this Easter holiday, ‘Tamu’ reminds listeners to become more enthusiastic about their lives, because life is too short to keep worrying about anything!
What Thee Exit Band is telling people in ‘Tamu’ is; if you want life to be sweet for you then surround yourself with friends who celebrate your victories, laugh at your jokes, and dance like nobody’s watching.
