Black Market Records Nominated In EAEA Awards

Great news that has just come in from our Paparazzi indicates that Black Market Records Kenya has been nominated in this year’s East Africa Arts Entertainment Awards (EAEA) in the category of Best Studio in East Africa.

The category, in which Black Market Records has been nominated also features other studios like Swangz Avenue (Uganda), Country Records (Rwanda), and Pluto Republic (Tanzania).

 According to the organisers of the awards, this category highlights the studios that have provided exceptional facilities, equipment, and support to musicians and artists in the region, plus contributing to the production of high-quality music.

Well, believe it or not, Black Market Records rightly deserves the nomination and the award, because Studio Black Market has over time not only been supportive of several artists in Kenya but also across East Africa and other African countries.

Currently, Studio Black Market is behind the production of some of the greatest hits in Kenya among them; ‘Kuna Kuna’ by Vic West, ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ by Fathermoh, ‘Sipangwingwi’ by Exray Taniua, ‘Tumerudiana’ by Fathermoh, ‘Shamra Shamra’ by Mbuzi Gang and many others.
