The film is about Amah, a determined and resilient 22-year-old dancer, who juggles caring for her sick mother while striving to make a name for herself in the dance world, with her close friend Lesley.

In a twist of events however, Amah shockingly learns later that her friend Lesley is romantically connected with her father Fidel, who has been supporting her financially even though he abandoned his family and ailing wife!

The ugly truth is revealed in a dramatic confrontation when Lesley introduces her sponsor (Fidel) to Amah, who can’t take in the shock, disappointment, anger and anguish all at once, so she breaks down.
