Kenya is literally on fire and it is all because of ‘Sipangwingwi’ a massive hit by Exray Taniua featuring newly elected president Dr. Samoei William Ruto.
This is because ‘Sipangwingwi’, which was Ruto’s official campaign song, has since taken over the airwaves, shortly after he was announced by the Supreme Court as Kenya’s duly elected president.
Prior to the announcement ‘Sipangwingwi’ was enjoying massive airplay but after Ruto’s endorsement as the democratically elected president of the republic of Kenya, the song has become some sort of anthem in the East African country.
‘Sipangwingwi’ is a common gengetone slang used among Kenyans that can be translated to mean ‘The life I live is mine, live your life’ and many of them identify with the slang, reason why the song was treated to massive reception by millions of Kenyans.
It is for that reason that Ruto chose ‘Sipangwingwi’ as his official campaign slogan and we can all ably assert that he was not disappointed, reason why the brand Exray Taniua has since been elevated in the Kenyan music industry.
