‘Kampala Gyal’, off the album Northern Bwoy, is currently the biggest thing on Uganda’s party scene and the song is fast turning Agami Tony into a household name.
This is because ‘Kampala Gyal’, which is a thrilling party anthem, is playing in people’s homes and pounding in night clubs all over the country.
The ‘Kampala Gyal’ video is also garnering lots of attention on YouTube with thousands of streams, on top of exerting considerable presence on Digital Streaming Platforms (DSPs).
A renowned producer, songwriter, DJ and artist, Agami Tony proves with ‘Kampala Gyal’ that he is not a joking subject when it comes to entertaining his fans.
Agami Tony does Afro-beat, dancehall, reggae and ragga genres, and thanks to his great talent, he writes all his music.
In 2021 he was part of a competition dubbed Pearl of Africa Star Search and out of the 2000 competitors, he emerged among the top 6 finalists of the competition.
He also participated in the MTN Pulse Challenges, during which his region (Northern) was the 2nd runner up.
Agami has over time written several songs for a number of Ugandan artists and worked with various big-name Ugandan producers like Pro Wani, Ronie on dis One, Rinex, Vad Killer, Samlamara, among others.
