Gengetone star Exray Taniua has become a point of focus in the music industry, thanks to his latest jam ‘Makofi Kwangu’, which features Omollo and Odi Wamuranga.
Currently, Exray Taniua, who is famously known for his blockbuster record ‘Sipangwingwi’, is riding high on the waves of digital streaming platform Boomplay, with over 10M streams.
Having outed ‘Sipangwingwi’, which became president William Ruto’s official campaign song, Exray Taniua made a major comeback with ‘Makofi Kwangu’, which has since caused a shockwave all over East Africa.
The song is not only being widely streamed on Boomplay and other digital platforms but also enjoying tens of thousands of views on YouTube, plus airing on airplay on TV and radio stations across the region.
Hitting 10M streams on Boomplay is no easy fit especially for musicians from Africa hence the mileage elevates Exray Taniua to another level in the music arena and all his fans have to do is to always anticipate bigger and better studio projects from him.
