The latest sensation on the Gengetone scene is a fresh banger by the Boondocks Gang dubbed ‘Mapeng’, which has since turned into a dancehall explosion.
The official video for ‘Mapeng’, which is Swahili slang for babes or cuties, officially premiered on YouTube today, Friday December, 2022 and it is already causing tremors on airwaves.
However, although the Boondocks Gang are highlighted as the main acts in the song, ‘Mapeng’ is actually an all-star project that includes several Kenyan artists among them; Fathmoh, Joseohyl and i-Phoolish all under Mbuzi Gang.
Besides these, the project is also blessed with Kenyan diva Teslah, who makes the chorus for the song so charming, thanks to her sweet vocals, and rapper Unspoken Salaton.
No wonder the video is already causing shockwaves all over East Africa, because it arouses powerful vibes in the heart and body of everyone who encounters it.
‘Mapeng’ is one of the explosive jams on the Boondocks Gang new EP dubbed Ghetto Genius, which is also available for streaming on YouTube and digital platforms.
Streaming ‘Mapeng’ on YouTube is just a click away so all you have to do is tap the link to vibe along with the Boondocks Gang and other artists on the tune.
