Mbuzi Gang, a prominent Kenyan Gengetone group have managed to penetrate the Uganda music industry, thanks to the several collabos they have over time done with various Ugandan artists.
Their latest collabo with Ugandan musician is ‘Zoza’, in which they feature hip-hop artist Navio and Kenyan ace producer Vic West.
The ‘Zoza’ video which was shot a few days ago in Kenya and released early this week on YouTube is already attracting attention from Ugandan TV stations.
The video is being given massive airplay on Face TV and other Ugandan TV stations, on top of booming in night clubs and bars, an indication that the project is being widely embraced in Uganda, after the warm reception it was given by Kenyans.
To date, Tik Tok continues to be flooded with dance challenges for ‘Zoza’ done by Mbuzi Gang fans across East Africa.
But, besides flooding Tik Tok and gracing TV stations, ‘Zoza’ is also performing well on YouTube, where it is reaping tens of thousands of views, plus being widely streamed on digital platforms.
If you haven’t watched ‘Zoza’ yet, now is the time to stream the video on YouTube; just tap the link.
