It will take a long time for African artists to produce a song that is bigger than ‘Kuna Kuna’,  a massive jam by Vic West, Fathermoh, Savara, Thee Exit Band and Brandy Maina.

‘Kuna Kuna, which has since clocked 11M YouTube views and still counting, has entered the books of history as one of the greatest jams ever released by Black Market Records in East Africa.

It is also the only record that has trended on YouTube for three months straight and topped music charts for several weeks without   any other song overthrowing it.

The song became even more popular a few days ago after Kisumu police Chief Mr. John Ogilo was filmed at a night club dancing to ‘Kuna Kuna’   before the video went viral on Tik Tok.

Actually, over   the weekend, while appearing on The Trend Live, a celebrity show by NTV Kenya, Vic West said that Chief Ogilo’s Tik Tok video helped ‘Kuna Kuna’ to attract another 2M YouTube views, because more who weren’t familiar with the song got to know about it.

This goes without saying that ‘Kuna Kuna’ is still rising in ranks and you can be a part of this vibe by clicking the link to stream the video on YouTube, so that we can take it to 12M views.
