Talented Swaziland rapper P.I.C has carved himself a niche in the Hip-hop realm as a rapper who specialises in songs that are sensible and carry a meaning.
His latest video dubbed ‘Do It For Yourself’, which he released a few days ago, is a typical illustration of this trend that he is taking.
‘Do It For Yourself’ is a record on which P.I.C urges all youth around the world to develop the culture of doing certain things themselves, instead of thinking that others will do them.
Splitting lyrics as if chewing crisps, P.I.C demonstrates a rare capability to rap in this jam, while at the same time sending out a piece of advice to youth, urging them to focus on what they have to do instead of focusing on what others are doing.
This is the ideal message for all youth around the world, especially since it comes from someone most of them relate with and is within their age group.
However, despite being a song with a powerful message, ‘Do It For Yourself’ is also a vivacious banger that can’t leave anyone seated whenever it plays, be it in your living room or at a nightclub.
‘Do It For Yourself’ is one of the singles off P.I.C’s latest EP The Gap Year, which is available on YouTube and digital platforms.
