There is no longer any doubt about ‘Kuna Kuna’, a blistering jam by Vic West featuring Fathermoh, Brandy Maina, Savara and Thee Exit Band, being the biggest song in East and Central Africa currently.
‘Kuna Kuna’, which has been a dominant force on the Kenyan music scene ever since its release four months back, is currently in the No.#01 position on Trace Mziiki.
Trace Mziiki is Trace TV’s countdown for the most popular songs in Kenya and ranking ‘Kuna Kuna’ on top of its countdown is a huge milestone for Vic West.
It means that ‘Kuna Kuna’ is no longer in the league of being just some other African song, but is now an internationally certified banger!
Meanwhile, as ‘Kuna Kuna’ is sailing on top of the Trace Mziiki chart, the video is still being massively streamed all over the globe and has since surpassed 14.6M YouTube views.
This means that if all other factors are kept constant, we are yet to see more of ‘Kuna Kuna’ because the song has proved to have some sort of enchanting, lasting effect on fans, because they seem to want more and more of it each day.
