A new record in the history of the Kenyan music industry is in the offing, thanks to Vic West, who hatched the idea for ‘Kuna Kuna’, a super hit that features Fathermoh, Savara, Brandy Maina and Thee Exit Band.
‘Kuna Kuna’ is set to be the first Gengetone song to clock 17M YouTube within five months of its release, a record that will remain unbeaten for a long time.
Currently at over 16.8M YouTube views, ‘Kuna Kuna’ continues to cause shockwaves around the world, with more people falling in love with the jam every day, hence the 17M target is not far from being hit.
Actually, ‘Kuna Kuna’ is currently performing better than several music videos on YouTube from musicians around the world and all credit goes to Vic West, who is the main architect of the project.
Meanwhile, ‘Kuna Kuna’, which has since been nominated in two categories in the East Africa Entertainment Awards (EAEA), continues to trend among the Top 10 Kenyan Hits on Trace TV and other TV stations around Africa.
