A talented musician, Tarel Tala, a singer and songwriter, has during the years been in the music industry and has released several songs which include; ‘Yonna’ , ‘Kikadde’, ‘Tuliwamu’, ‘Sure’, ‘Gumpasude’, among others.
Besides music however, Tarel Tala, who is a multi-talented artiste, is also an actor and music producer, who has worked with a number of Ugandan musicians by writing them songs and producing music for them.

Real name Jonathan Kawooya, Tarel Tala says he started at the age of 7 in church and throughout his school life he was involved in everything to do with music.
He was born in Kampala Uganda and was raised by a single mother.
Tarel studied his kindergarten at an orphanage called Bulamu Children\’s Village where he completed his primary school.
He later started his musical journey at the age of 10 in Sunday School Services and Church Choirs.
In 2013 he started his professional music carrier with a gospel song titled ‘Victorious’, which was a success.
He continued with his gospel music solo career as a teenager and at the age of 17 he joined the world class music industry in order to meet his dream of being a ‘World Wide Super Star’.
He started with his single ‘Queen & King’, which propelled him into the spotlight.
He later started a serious music showbiz in 2020 with his single ‘Bestie’, which was a big introduction to the music industry.
