Officially formed in 2020, they have released one studio album with 12 banger songs along with various singles and collabo projects.They have been nominated for several awards and have performed in various events. MembersMike Makori aka iPhoolishUsually the super chilled one, he has an amazing depth and delivery voice that hits the sweet spots. Moses Ojwang\’ aka FathermohHis voice is almost raspy which suits a lot of their choruses, his razzle dazzle nature is also a plus! Joseph Getugi aka JoefesHe has deep tones and amazing vocal runs that they usually use to sing in the beginnings of songs. My favorite song:Just this year, the band released Soko while featuring Unspoken Salaton and Rico Gang member HarryCraze.The hook is catchy, the rhythm is custom-made for a fed up/heartbroken/moving on individual. Soko has got great tan-to-party ratio and it\’s one of the jams that make you want to flip your life after being dumped, maybe clean your room, change your closet or go to the market.In the jam, the squad mixes funny punch lines with catchy phrases that are relatable to situationships happening currently. Angella is recently known for her big break up with Daddy Andre two years ago that brought negative buzz and made people question her career. Well she is a Ugandan singer, vocalist, songwriter, philanthropist and a fierce business woman who has made tremendous strides in the music industry since 2015 and is not planning on stopping anytime soon.Her famous works with Daddy Andre had them shaping up to become such a good music force.Their big banger ‘Tonelabira’ , has over two million views on YouTube. Their latest project ,Wendi, which is included in the EP, comes after their breakup and is for sure selling out. Nothing seems to hold her back from giving something great to her fans. By Brenda, Recently, Swat Matire released _Katanuka_ in collaboration with Squidkeed and Ocham. From this project, the trio talk about their street lives and how they have to be tough to survive. They try to keep it real and not give the wrong impression about rappers in Kenya. Swat has used his raspy deep voice to good use. Not only is he considered as one of the pioneers of gengetone music genre but he is one of the greatest rappers in the country. He is a member of Ethic gengetone group but has worked on a couple of solo projects in the past years. His tracks are always intense and the best description for the BEST gengetone artist Not one of his songs makes me feel like I dislike him, he always brings great lyrics and great performances and his radio one sessions and fire in the booth are just amazing! Swat is still kicking down the door to the rap game having dropped Ex featuring Shekinah Karen, Whine (Take it down) with Band Beca and now Katanuka just this year. He is an inspiration to the younger generation over the past 4 years as he dominated the industry with his catchy lyrics, mad collaborations and over the top video productions. _Katanuka_ is so catchy and hard that only a character like Swat Matire could have made it. Call them La Catedral del son from Havana, Cuba. They are an eight person brand led by Director Loco.
