With a purely Ugandan cast that consist of various talented actors and actresses, ‘Not A Penny’ will leave everyone seated on edges and biting their fingers because it’s so captivating!
A story of financial struggles, resilience, and determination to overcome challenges, ‘Not A Penny’ is a film about the lifestyle that most Ugandan youths live today.
The film highlights the challenges and harsh conditions that most youths who borrow money from online moneylenders suffer and how many of them get scammed by the loan sharks.
It’s about a young woman, Tracy, who endures menacing threats from Thunder Cash, an online moneylending company after she fails to pay money she borrowed.
What follows is a life of paranoia and hell because of the endless threats that keep coming in from the company, making survival on earth almost impossible for her.
It is a nerve-gripping psychological thriller about money, power, fear, and resilience which everyone should watch when it drops.
