By Gloria Nanjala.
Following a string of successful albums and several single releases later, Joefes has a new exciting single titled ‘Snakes’ added on the list.
The three minute-track has warm beats, sampled vocals and a great production from producer Kashkeed.
Having listened to Snakes, a single from his album ‘Toxic’, it’s not surprising that he drew inspiration from creating distance from people with negative energy by cutting them off.
He sings
“Snakes cut
Manyoka zote cut…..
Mii hulenga zile text za ufala like tsup?….”
The track ‘snakes’ can be a slang word for untrustworthy people or deceitful romantic contexts, thus joefes trying to explaining why its necessary to cut off people from ones life.
There’s an irresistible carefree spirit shining in this track that will have you singing along.
Thanks to his producer, Joefes has accomplished a great deal with this expansive lyrical flow.
