Joefes invites listeners to his own world through his new album, Toxic, by enveloping them in a kaleidoscopic sound comprised of airy synth melodies and frenetic rap percussion that will have anyone vibing to it whole.
On his 11th track, Selfish, Joefes tags Teslah and Unspoken Salaton for assist. Here, the trio touch on relationship struggles and how love has failed them. Teslah picks up the bridge and chorus as Joefes and Unspoken Salaton take the first and last verse respectively.
This is a seductive song in both lyric and feel, the alluring aspect to it has the artists admit their feelings and insecurities in their relationships – perfect to send to your partner if you have troubles.
Essentially a “Selfish” song, it transcends with its irresistible melody. Check out “Selfish” out on all digital streaming platforms.
