Kenyan group Limbo Fest has dropped a new single dubbed ‘You’, which debuted today on YouTube and digital platforms, causing untold excitement from their fans.
‘You’, a jam that officially introduces Limbo Fest onto the Kenyan music scene, is a song about a man who is so into his woman that he doesn’t want to know anything about other women because she is the only one he has his focus on.
Only a man who is truly in love with a woman will easily identify with what the group sings about in ‘You’ and this song is bound to capture the attention of several people, especially those in serious relationships.
Unlike most Kenyan artists who perform their songs in Swahili and Sheng, Limbo Fest brings about a unique style by performing their songs mainly in English verses, a move that’s bound to extend the reach of their music to audiences that don’t speak Swahili.
This is however one of the numerous jams that Limbo Fest has lined up for their ever-growing fan base this year and now that ‘You’ is out of the way, we are sure they are set to follow it up with another drop soon.
But until then, let’s all tap the link above to stream the jam on YouTube as we wait for more dope jams from Limbo Fest!
