Swat Matire’s hit track, “Bad Girl” featuring Shekinah Karen and Fathermoh has just clocked 500K streams on YouTube and it’s not hard to see why.
The song is an absolute banger, with a unique spoken singing style that is sure to get you hooked from the very first listen, making it the perfect tune to play when you’re getting all pumped up.
But the real star of the show is the song’s plot. The lyrics are all about interesting a cheating partner, and the lads really lash out at Shekinah Karen for her infidelity. You can feel the anger and betrayal in their voices as they confront her for her two-timing ways.
And yet, despite all of this, Shekinah Karen manages to maintain her composure and denies knowing her toyboy, Fathermoh. It’s a fascinating dynamic, and one that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire song. It’s easy to see why “Bad Girl” has become such a huge hit.
Aside from the cheating devilry, Bad Girl is the perfect tune to play when you’re in the mood for something that’s both catchy and meaningful. So if you haven’t already, be sure to check it out on YouTube and see for yourself what all the fuss is about!
