A squad of Ugandan musicians signed to Black Market Records traveled to Diani, Kenya this week, where they are shooting new music videos that will be unleashed by the renowned international label soon.
While there, the Ugandan musicians are also slated to shoot music videos with Kenyan artists signed under Black Market Records.
The main motive of this trip is to bring a new touch to Ugandan music videos by shooting them in different locations and to forge a connection between musicians from both Uganda and Kenya, especially now that we are part of the East African Community.
Some of the artists shooting videos in Kenya that are under the supervision of Cedric Singleton, the Black Market Records Chief Executive Officer (CEO) include;
Neliah from Uganda who is shooting a new video dubbed ‘Different’, plus Jsan Buoy, also from Uganda, shooting two videos ‘Desire and Wombolombo’.
On the other hand, the Kenyan artists include; Boondocks Gang shooting two videos for ‘Mapeng’ and ‘Izi Ni Gani’, Mbuzi Gang, shooting their ‘Bikoko’, Teslah, shooting two videos ‘Love’ and ‘Bado’.
Other artists are ‘Kuna Kuna’ star Vic West, Unspoken Salaton, Ivy League, to mention but a few.
This however, means that music lovers across East Africa and the entire world should expect bigger and better music from Black Market Records, a record label that is known for working with only the best artists.
