The Kenyan film audience has embraced ‘Dancing Shadows’, a very mind-riveting short film by Black Market Films, which has turned out to be a masterpiece, with over 21K YouTube views and counting!

Ultimately, ‘Dancing Shadows’ is a great thriller that captivates viewers with a rollercoaster of emotions, suspense, intrigue and the burning desire to watch the movie from start to end without interruptions!

The film is about Amah, a zealous 22-year-old aspiring dancer, who has to look after her mother because her father, Fidel, abandoned the family. Faced with severe poverty and a daily struggle for survival, Amah is not about to give up on her dreams of becoming a professional dancer, which she shares with her classmate and best friend, Lesley.

Amah’s hopes for a great future are dashed after she discovers that while she and her mother battle abject poverty, her father Fidel is bankrolling Lesley, financing her luxurious and flashy lifestyle!

Starring Sheila Mumbi, Lucy Miricho, Joe Clifford and others with music by Exray Taniua, Fathermoh, Harry Craze, Joefes, Limbofest and more, ‘Dancing Shadows’ is a film that stirs the emotions of everyone who experiences it and it’s because of this that tens of thousands of Kenyans are streaming it on YouTube.
