Kenya’s celebrated Gengetone trio Boondocks Gang has reunited to release a fresh track titled Kafyat, signaling a strong return to the genre that put them on the map. Made up of Exray, Odi wa Murang’a, and Maddox, the group is tapping back into the gritty energy and street flavor that once dominated the Kenyan music scene.
After a season of successful solo ventures, the group’s reunion comes as a pleasant surprise to fans. Exray has been riding high with three standout singles Come featuring Ugandan star Martha Mukisa, Sipangwingwi ft Trio mio and Body featuring rapper Boutross.
