In case you didn’t know or haven’t checked it out yet, Kenyan singing trio Boondocks Gang have out a new video dubbed ‘Mapeng’, which is being broadly streamed on YouTube.
Dropped just three weeks ago, ‘Mapeng’ is a roller-coaster banger that features a number of big-name Kenyan artists, among them Teslah, Exray Taniua, Fathermoh, Joefes, Unspoken Salaton, to mention but a few.
Taken off their latest EP dubbed Ghetto To Genius, ‘Mapeng’, which has so far harvested over 22K YouTube views and still counting, has since cast the Boondocks Gang as talented artists who are not selfish but very willing to team up with other musicians on studio projects.
With a project like ‘Mapeng’ and the other songs on their EP, the Boondocks Gang continue to take the Kenyan Gengetone scene to the next level by doing something out of the box, which nobody expected and that’s the beauty of the video.
If there was something in your entire life that you ever wanted to reward yourself with, then streaming ‘Mapeng’ should be your number one priority before you do anything else on your bucket list this year.
