Good things continue happening to Kisumu police Chief John Ogilo Migun, who was a few weeks ago filmed dancing to Vic West’s jam ‘Kuna Kuna’ at a nightclub, before his video went viral on Tik Tok.
Ever since his video went viral on Tik Tok, Mr. Migun, who has since been nicknamed ‘Kuna Kuna’ Chief, has become the focus for not only media attention but several people in Kenya, including the government officials.
Thanks to the celebrity status he attained because of ‘Kuna Kuna’, Mr. Migun has landed himself a new position as the marketing guru for Huduma Kenya Services.
This new role comes on top of his Northern Sub-location Assistant Chief duties in Kisumu Central Sub-County.
Shortly after being notified about the new position on Friday, Migun was seen dancing to ‘Kuna Kuna’ with Huduma Center-Kisumu staff as he celebrated landing the new gig.
Meanwhile, ‘Kuna Kuna, a song by Vic West, Fathermoh, Thee Exit Band, Brandy Maina and Savara, continues to register great strides by dominating the airwaves.
The video has so far garnered over 11.6M YouTube views and still counting, on top of trending for over three months now.
Truth be told, East Africa, if not Africa as whole, is yet to see another song that is bigger than ‘Kuna Kuna’.
If you haven’t watched the video yet, fret not; all you have to do is click the link to stream it on YouTube.
