After causing shockwaves on Audiomack and other digital streaming platforms, Joefes’ new banger ‘Confirmed’, which features Fathermoh, Unspoken Salaton and Odi Wa Muranga, has since premiered on YouTube.
Taken off his latest album dubbed Toxic, which dropped a few days ago, ‘Confirmed’ is fast-becoming a thrilling sensation for hundreds of Gengetone lovers.
This jam portrays the different lifestyles most people, especially youth, go through when they don’t have money and how the same changes the moment they get it.
Alluding to receiving a mobile money message and then confirming receipt, ‘Confirmed’ is a song that is relatable to the day-to-day lifestyle of so many people around the world.
The artists on this track endeavour to paint a picture of how someone’s lifestyle dramatically changes the moment they receive money; they start making orders for nice things they previously couldn’t afford and try to discard those they could only do with when they were broke.
Much as it is a club banger, ‘Confirmed’ is a song that is also aimed at stirring self-reflection amongst people and a reminder to everyone not to live a pretentious or forced lifestyle but to always keep it real.
More still is that the YouTube version is a lyric video, which will give their fans an opportunity to sing along to the jam as they enjoy it.
By the way, the video for this massive banger is dropping soon but in the meantime, click the link to stream ‘Confirmed’ on YouTube.
