Kenyan multi-talented artist Vic West, who is the brain behind popular hit songs like ‘Cool Me Down’, ‘Kuna Kuna’ and many others, has surpassed 105K YouTube subscribers.
Being a Gengetone artist, which is a relatively new music genre in East Africa, this is great mileage for Vic West in far as his music career is concerned.
A producer and musician, Vic West has over time proved to possess exceptional music potential, especially because every music project he works on becomes an instant hit.
Due to his remarkable musical skills, Vic West has won several accolades and gotten nominated for several music awards, the most recent one being the East Africa Entertainment Awards (EAEA), where he was nominated in three categories for his massive hit ‘Kuna Kuna’, featuring Fathermoh, Savara, Brandy Maina and Thee Exit Band, which has over 18M YouTube views.
Signed under Black Market Records, Vic West is also credited for producing ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ by Fathermoh ft. Sylvia Ssaru, which has over 5.8M YouTube views and still counting, ‘Sababisha’ by Thee Exit Band, ‘Chunli’ by Fathermoh ft. Boutross, Boutross and Khaligraph Jones, among others.
His latest jam ‘Cool Me Down’ featuring Thee Exit Band, Savara, Bensoul and Joefes is currently one of the hottest club bangers across East Africa.
