Daddy Andre, a prominent Ugandan musician, in enjoying the limelight in Kenya, that to his heart throbbing banger ‘Gemazima’, which features Kenyan diva Teslah.
Despite being Ugandan, Daddy Andre’s dominance on various Kenyan TV and radio stations is being felt across the East African country, with tens of thousands of fans vibing to this jam.
‘Gemazima’ is a song that took most people around East Africa, especially the Kenyans by surprise, because no one had anticipated such an explosive collabo between Daddy Andre and Teslah.
But ever since they dropped the project, several people have fallen in love with it and this is evidenced by the number of streams the video has garnered so far.
Latest statistics indicate that ‘Gemazima’ is one of the videos being massively streamed by fans on YouTube, whereby it has since its release attracted over 129K and still counting.
However, much as the project is enabling Daddy Andre to build a huge fan base in Kenya, it is also giving Teslah a platform to penetrate the Ugandan music arena and that won’t take her long to achieve.
The exposure that ‘Gemazima’ is according Daddy Andre in Kenya and Teslah in Uganda has left several people calling for more collabos from the two, while others are urging musicians from either country to pick a leaf from the collabo.
