Celebrated Black Market Record artist Exray Taniua thrilled millions of Kenyans on Tuesday after he performed his massive hit ‘Sipangwingwi’ live during President William Samoei Ruto’s inauguration ceremony.
Exray Taniua literary became the man of the moment the moment he stepped on stage to perform after being welcomed with a thunderous applause from the crowd that had gathered at Kasarani stadium to be part of the history in the making.
The moment he started singing ‘Sipangwingwi’, which was Ruto’s official campaign song, the entire crowd, which included several heads of state from across the world, went into a wild frenzy as they sang along with him.
With ‘Sipangwingwi’, a song which tells the story of a common Kenyan hustler, Exray Taniua continues to touch the hearts of millions of Kenyans especially because of the inspiring vibes in the song.
It is not by mistake that president Ruto decided to not only use the studio project as his official campaign song but also went ahead to do the ‘Sipangwingwi’ remix with Exray Taniua, a move that has since elevated the singer in as far as the Kenyan music industry is concerned.
