If you haven’t encountered a song that knocks you out like a joint the very first time you come across it, then you haven’t experienced ‘Filter’, a brand new jam by Nande Boyz.
‘Filter’, which dropped last week, has since become the latest party sensation in Kampala and across Uganda, especially because it is a song that hundreds of youth easily relate with.
Actually, ‘Filter’ has already hit over 44K YouTube views within just 5 days of its release, an indication that it is causing traction and making an impact on Afro-pop music lovers around the world.
However, the controversy raised in the song by the Nande Boyz, who sing about slay queens that use filters to appear beautiful in the photos they share on social media platforms, is partly playing into the studio project’s favour.
This is because ‘Filter’ goes beyond just being a dancehall jam to becoming an eye-opener for several dudes who are usually hoodwinked by filters, only to later find out that the actual person looks different from the photos on social media.
You ought to click the link to stream ‘Filter’ on YouTube so that you not only enjoy this amazing jam but also get to know how to avoid slay queens who use filters!
