Musician Nina Roz, who is rocking the Ugandan music scene with her captivating video ‘Nwanilaako’, over the weekend got an opportunity to meet Uganda’s legendary music icon Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, who is also the Principal of the National Unity Platform (NUP), one of political parties in the country.
Our Scouts reveal that the impromptu linkup, which happened at One Love Beach in Busabala, was an opportune moment for Nina Roz, especially because Bobi Wine is not only an important figure politically but is also a music icon who has inspired several other Ugandan musicians.
Although the interaction between Nina Roz and Bobi Wine remains highly confidential, we have since established from our Scouts that she shared with him all about her music career, the challenges facing the music industry and how they can be solved, plus of course her latest studio project ‘Nwanilaako’, which is booming across the country!
The scouts also intimate that Bobi Wine gave Nina Roz a few tips on how to up her music game and to maneuver about challenges every musician faces in the Ugandan music industry.
Shortly after the meetup, Nina Roz posted on her socials thus; “Humbled and grateful to have a moment with H.E / PRINCIPAL @bobiwine @dax_vibez @zaakefrancis @eddie_mutwe. It was worth a while. #nwanilako #videolinkinmybio”
