The hip-hop industry has been dealt a huge blow following the demise of famous Oakland rapper Street Knowledge, who was reportedly gunned down over the weekend, although other sources claim he died of cardiovascular disease.
Preliminary information gathered so far indicates that Street Knowledge was gunned down at a tattoo shop in Oakland, California, although there are reports contradicting this version, claiming that he died of organ complications caused by cardiovascular disease.
However, investigations into his murder are already ongoing to establish what could have led to his untimely death.
An exceptionally talented rapper, Street Knowledge became famous after he dropped a 12-track album dubbed ‘Von Sway’, which he released via Black Market Records.
Although he had long catalogue of songs to his name by the time of his death, Street Knowledge’s album ‘Von Sway’, which cemented his position in the hip-hop industry, features the following tracks:
‘Tap In’, ‘Drug dealers dream’, ‘Real Niggas’, ‘I Don’t Trust U Bitch’, ‘Smoke’, ‘I ain’t fuckin with it’, ‘Streetlife’, ‘Makin love’, ‘Can’t fuck wit me’, ‘Can you feel me’, ‘R.I.P’ and ‘G.A.N.S.T.A’.
Besides ‘Von Say’ Street Knowledge was also known for other albums that include; Kill Yaself (In Loving Memory Of The Jacka), Checkin Aint Cheatin, Ice Cold Mack, Political Pardon , Dope Sell Itself and more.
He also had famous singles like; Ventin, California, Devil On My Block, Married To the Game and more.
Street Knowledge also had collabos with artists like Joe Blow, Lil Monie, the Mob Figaz and Ampichino. Condolences are flowing in from fellow Bay rap artists and associates among them; E-40, Ghazi, Lil AJ, Lil Rue, AllahRegime, DC Baby Draco, Remy R.E.D Koran Streets, Hitta Slim and others.
