Kenyan musician Josephyl, who is known for his inspirational music, has returned with a fresh ballad dubbed ‘Ningekuwa’, which features vocal queen Lancy.
Brand-new and sizzling hot, ‘Ningekuwa’ is a song that several Kenyans will find so appealing, because this time round Josephyl has a message for all the lovers in the country who are doing the same jobs.
‘Ningekuwa’ is about people doing the same jobs or pursuing a similar career who decide to date, so as to enjoy themselves every time they want to.
As he performs the jam, Josephyl playfully wishes he was a doctor so that he and his lover could ‘inject’ each other every morning, a subtle nuance, a playful double entendre, that alludes to him craving a lover who does the same job as him.
He goes ahead to reveal in the chorus that if he was a farmer, he would marry a fellow farmer, so that they would ‘dig themselves’ every morning before going to the garden!
True to his legacy, ‘Ningekuwa’, which is now available on YouTube and digital platforms, is a highly motivational song from Josephyl especially for people in relationships, and the jam is bound to melt the hearts of several Kenyans.
This tune however comes on the heels of ‘Achibella’, another captivating love song that Josephyl performed with Teslah, Exray Taniua and GJB100, which is also available on YouTube and in rotation on Kenyan airwaves.
