‘Nshakukunda’, a new ballad by Ugandan musician Jsan Bouy and Rwandan Afropop artist Sean Brizz is rocking airwaves not only in Uganda but also in Rwanda.
Since Ugandans and Rwandans share a lot in common, ‘Nshakukunda’, which premiered on YouTube on Wednesday this week, is already attracting attention from fans in both countries.
The song, which is a sizzling love ballad, has since been picked up by media outlets in Rwanda and is already doing rounds on a number of radio stations there.
Although still being distributed as an audio, ‘Nshakukunda’ has taken listeners both in Uganda and Rwanda by surprise, given the attention the project is attracting from all over East Africa.
Meanwhile, we have since established that the official video for ‘Nshakukunda’, a Kinyarwanda phrase that translates to ‘I shall love you’ in English, is ready and set to premiere on YouTube next week.
A sneak peek of the video’s trailer indicates that ‘Nshakukunda’ has the potential to dominate airwaves in the East African region in a few days’ time, because it is a captivating piece of art.
It is only a matter of days before the video gets released but as we wait for it, you can click the link to have a feel of the ‘Nshakukunda’ audio on YouTube.
