Prolific producer Vic West has earned his respect as the greatest Kenyan producer with major hits last year such as ‘Kuna Kuna’, ‘Chunli’, ‘Dai Dai’, and most recently ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ by Fathermoh.

Vic West’s ability to throw rhyme after rhyme also earned him two awards at last year’s prestigious Pulse Music Video Awards (PMVAs).

Well, we can ably say that this record/music producer/singer/songwriter had a remarkable year.

At this rate, he might just be surpassing ‘Shamra Shamra’ hit producer Kashkeed.

West’s record breakthrough, ‘Kuna Kuna’ now has over 13 million views on YouTube within just three months, while ‘Shamra Shamra’ has had a total of 9 million views in two years.

This is no shade to Kashkeed, although the tables are now turning and we are here to witness who the producer of the year award will go to this year.

Mavo on the Beat and Magix Enga are up for a challenge this year, with dope hits coming your way any time from Vic West and Kashkeed featuring big collaborations countrywide.

The competitiveness of these two producers goes all the way. They are major producers in the music industry, who are known to many artists as friends but always mean business when it comes to music production.

They are key players to our favourite anthems since 2021, and are working on new dope projects with artists like Fathermoh, Masauti, Boondocks Gang, Mbuzi Gang and Rico Gang.

We give props to these multi-talented producers and if you want to banish any doubts in you, click the link to stream ‘Kuna Kuna’ by Vic West.
