Renowned Kenyan artists Fathermoh and Sylvia Ssaru deserve a standing ovation for their massive collabo dubbed ‘Kaskie Vibaya’, which has since made over 9M YouTube views and still counting.
This is a very big milestone for both Fathermoh and Ssaru in as far as their music careers are concerned, especially because the 9M views come within just six months after the release of the song, a record very few Kenyan artists can claim.
The millions of views that ‘Kaskie Vibaya’ is garnering don’t come as a surprise to many Gengetone music analysts however, because the song has been maintaining a positive trajectory ever since it premiered on YouTube, before the video went viral on social media platforms and TV stations across East Africa.
A song that will forever be a thriller in as far as the Kenyan entertainment industry is concerned, ‘Kaskie Vibaya’, which depicts the battle between youths and sugar daddies for young girls, dominated music charts and trended on YouTube for months.
It is a true manifestation that Fathermoh is one of the new generation music giants in East Africa, whose audience spans beyond Kenya’s borders to other parts of Africa, the USA, Europe, Asia and Arabia.
